Played at Temecula Valley High School Temecula, CA then went on to Palomar College in San Marcos, CA. Coach Mitchell started coaching at Temecula Valley High School immediately after his playing career. He moved to Boise, Idaho in November 2017 and coached at Eagle High School as well as started Competitors Baseball Powered by Trosky holding showcases, camps, and teams.
